iCandye OneStar Converse

iCandye Wanted a pair so I painted up these converse one Star for her.

Again Since iCandye is a Hotrod Honey, I opted to go with the racing stripes on the toes. I really like that they are off to the side and that the iCandye looks kinda wet on the side of the shoe.

Unrelated Derbyvision thing - Multimedia Games Charity event

For the last couple of years my new workplace, Multimedia Games has had a charity event benefiting Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Being new I was asked to create the artwork for this years event.
Here is the Art. I went with this kind of Dr. Strangelove meets Freebirds thing.

Rice Rocket Customs

I finally got to Rice rockets first custom shoes.

I figured between her being Rice Rocket and her playing for the Hotrod honeys, that I needed to combined Nasa with Pink and black flames. The checkerd Vans put it over the top. Race car flags and what not. on the back is her number 3e8 or the speed of light.

Rice Rocket Kustoms Pt 2

Ok, the holidays got me behind and don't even get me started on New years eve.

Anyway, I just picked up the first pair of 2 for Rice Rocket. They are some sweet checked Vans, and are gonna rock. i can't wait to get painting on them this week.

Rice Rocket Kustoms are on the way

Rice Rocket just ordered some shoes, so I'll be posting updates as I work on them. They should be done in time for Christmas.
She wanted some black converse chuck taylor high tops, so we'll start there and get them all hot rodded up, with some pink and white paint. They'll definitely have to have some hotrod flames on them somewhere. Maybe I'll do up the toungue with the flames.

eventually I see debyvision becoming a part of the kustom shop for derby love, but until that time I will still be doing shoes and what not.
